Gordon Ober, B.S.
Gordon is a research assistant in the State Lab. He attended the University of Connecticut and graduated in 2009 with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. His past research includes work with physiological ecology of Poecilid minnows, as well as benthic marine invertebrate community ecology.
Gordon began work with the State Lab in February 2010 supporting various projects. His work includes running high-throughput PCR for candidate genes, analyzing sequence, and DNA extraction.
Gordon will be pursuing a PhD. in Biology at the University of Rhode Island this fall.
