The State Lab applies both wet-lab and dry-lab approaches to unraveling complex psychiatric disease phenotypes. Approaches include copy-number variation analysis, high-throughput resequencing (both targeted amplicon and whole-exome) at the Yale Center for Genomic Analysis core facility, expression data from rtPCR, and functional assays in model organisms such as zebrafish. We collaborate closely with several psychiatric, genomic, and functional laboratories at Yale and elsewhere, such as the Lifton Lab, Gunel Lab, Louvi Lab, De Camilli Lab, Giraldez Lab, and Geschwind Lab.
